High School Application

Applicants must:

• Complete the entire scholarship application.

• Submit one (1) letter of recommendation from a teacher, guidance counselor, employer, mentor or community leaders. We prefer to receive recommendations sent directly via email from the person recommending you to betasigmaalpha1991@gmail.com If that is not possible, recommendations may be sent as a PDF with e-signatures. We will not accept in .doc, .rtf or .txt files.

• Write a minimum one-page essay addressing one of the questions on page four of this application. The essay must be typed and double-spaced. You may use additional pages if necessary.

• Submit all copies of college acceptance letters.

• Submit unofficial transcript for Fall 2024-Winter 2025. Completed classes must have an alpha or numeric grade. 

• All documents must be submitted in pdf format (doc, .rtf or .txt files will not be accepted)

The completed application must be submitted no later than 11:59PM on May 9, 2025.
