Our Mission

The mission of Beta Sigma Alpha, Sororidad Latina is to be a positive force in the lives of young Latinas pursuing higher education by providing guidance and support.

The membership is open to all female students regardless of their race, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, religion and any other legally protected characteristics.

Our History

Founded in 1991 in response to the growing interest in Greek-lettered organizations that addressed the needs of Latinas at the University of Connecticut, Beta Sigma Alpha was the first Latina sorority in Connecticut.
